Hotel information

Our "Haus der Begegnung" ("House of Encounters") is spread over a large area of more than 23,000m². As well as the hotel and youth hostel, you will find here a popular restaurant, a kindergarten and two doctor's practices. In the former "House of the Gardener" you find a botanic nursery. In an annex there is a welfare centre and a mentoring organisation.

Room information

The rooms are of architectural interest and the single rooms and dormitories offer a total of 140 beds, making it ideally suited to groups. There are showers and bathrooms on each floor of the youth hostel.

A comprehensive breakfast buffet provides a good start to the day.

Area information

The St. Michaels Heim is located in the quiet, affluent neighbourhood of Berlin-Grunewald, directly on Lake Herthasee in a beautiful park. In only a few minutes on foot or by bus you can reach Kurfürstendamm street with its pubs, clubs, shops, cinemas and theatres. The trade fair centre at the Funkturm (Radio Tower), the ICC convention centre and the central bus station are easily accessed by public transport.
