Hotel information

Built between 1880 and 1885, the lovingly renovated hostel building looks back on a tumultuous history. Used by Nazi officials during the Second World War, the building originally hosted the Hotel Astoria. One of the few houses to survive the allied bombings, it became home to the Euro Youth Hotel in 1998.

The well-preserved wooden staircase, marble floors and chandeliers still testify to the listed building's fascinating past.

The hostel offers comfortable, clean and spacious rooms with ample natural daylight.

The beds are made up for you and bed linen is provided for free.

All bathrooms, doors, corridors and the entire heating system were renovated during the last 2 years, while the brand-new card key system provides safe, independent access at all times.

All 3,4 and 5-bed rooms are fitted with lockers (you will need to bring your own lock and key).

Food & beverage

The cheerful, international bar staff serve tasty Munich beer and delicious cocktails at affordable prices. The bar frequently hosts karaoke evenings, live concerts and DJ sets.

Travel information

The hostel is situated only 80 metres from the central railway station?s south exit. The quiet side street is just a 2-minute walk from the historic city centre.

Leave the central railway station via the south exit next to platform 11. Cross the Bayerstraße, turn left and then turn into the first street on the right, the Senefelderstraße. The hostel is situated at Senefelderstraße 5, which you will find after approximately 45 metres on the left-hand side.

From the airport, take S-Bahn (city rail) lines S1 or S8 to the central railway station. The journey time is about 40 minutes. A Tageskarte (Day Ticket) or Partner-Tageskarte (for up to 5 people) ensures stress-free mobility.
